SUPPLY CHAIN LEAD: ASIA DESK

Are you an experienced Supply Chain Leader with strong international logistics, freight forwarding and Asia trade-lane expertise?

Our client is seeking a commercially driven Supply Chain Lead: Asia Desk to take ownership of end-to-end supply chain and operational processes, ensuring seamless coordination between customers, suppliers, freight providers, customs, transporters and internal stakeholders.

Matric essential.
Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Customs, Procurement, International Trade or Business advantageous.
7–8+ years' experience in a Supply Chain Leadership role.
Significant experience within international supply chain, freight forwarding, import/export, procurement or strategic sourcing.
Strong practical knowledge of sea and air freight, customs, shipping documentation, Incoterms and inland transportation.
Proven experience managing international suppliers and multiple logistics stakeholders.
Strong commercial and negotiation skills, including supplier/carrier negotiations, quotations, tenders and cost control.
Experience with process improvement, operational controls, reporting and service standards.
Advanced Microsoft 365 / Excel proficiency.
Shipshape experience advantageous.
Ability and willingness to travel when required.

We are looking for a strategic, commercially minded and hands-on Supply Chain Leader who can operate across international sourcing, freight forwarding, customs, logistics and customer solutions.

Strong Asia/China trade-lane experience will be highly advantageous.
